Lance has built a legendary reputation based on high-quality truck campers, and recently added a line of travel trailers. The manufacturer has implemented a number of changes and additions for 2012. Some of the new features include a standard full-featured stereo system with an Apple iPod® connection and a new Lance Look™ interior decor option called Rain Forest. They have also added some new models to their truck camper and travel trailer lineup.

For more than a decade, Lance’s most popular 10-foot truck camper floor plan was the 1030 model. Recently it was discontinued in favor of newer models. They are now reintroducing the floor plan with new features and construction methods, and with an available slide model (1050S). A larger dinette and larger holding tank capacity are among the enhanced features. The new floor plan basement allows for more storage, while the cab-over boasts a more spacious sleeping area and mirrored wardrobe.

The 2012 Lance 855 is the newest model in Lance’s line of truck campers. Designed for 250/2500 series short-bed trucks, the model is available with or without a slide. The camper offers many attractive features, including a large dinette, spacious wet bath, oversize galley sink, space for a built-in generator and large basement holding tanks. With the dinette bed and fold-down overhead bunk, the 855 can sleep five people. The 855S features a slide in the dinette area for more floor space.

The new lightweight 2012 Lance 1575 has been designed to meet the needs of small-truck and smaller-SUV owners, yet still incorporates many of the desirable features you’d expect in a standard-weight RV. Lance’s Research and Development team designed this travel trailer to be towed be 3,500-pound-capacity vehicles. The model includes a dry bath, dinette slide and deluxe pillow-top queen mattress.

The new 2012 Lance 1685 is a lightweight trailer with a 78-inch slide. It is compatible with vehicles that have a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds or more. This model features a “super-slideout” with a large U-shaped dinette, and plenty of storage space: overhead storage bins throughout the cabin, three wardrobe closets, under-bed storage accessible from either inside or outside the coach, and pass-through exterior storage. With its queen bed, dinette bed and overhead bunk, the 1685 can sleep up to five people.
