You and your rig bounce down a lot of highways. When state and local governments come up short in road maintenance funds, potholes and broken pavement sections often go unrepaired. Over time, these hazards can cause the fittings in your pressure water system to loosen and leak. Make it a regular habit to inspect for wet spots — a sure sign of water leaks — under sinks, behind drawers and anywhere else plumbing pipes run. At the first sign of leakage, tighten all the fittings immediately; otherwise, you may find yourself with a damp and rotting subfloor — and a big repair bill.
