When the time came to design a new Class A motor home to meet the desires of today’s RVer, the manufacturers at Four Winds International listened to their customers and implemented a host of their ideas.

The result is the Serrano, a sleek and efficient Class A motor home that offers luxury, practicality and a glimpse into the future of Rving.

PARKING LOT

Steve sits behind the wheel. Dana fastens her seatbelt in the co-pilot seat. The Serrano slowly rolls through the lot.

POPS: Nice ride, isn't it? Now let's go in and pay for it.

The sales consultants share a laugh.

DANA: Remember, "D" is for drive, Pops.

POPS: Yes, sir.

HIGHWAY

The Serrano merges with ease onto the highway and quickly reaches cruising speed.

POPS: What I really like, and one of the first things I would point out to a person interested in this coach is that when you sit in the driver seat or co-pilot seat, you’re sitting high. The visibility is perfect. You have a lot less front-end blind spot than you do with most coaches.

DANA: I love the European style mirrors. They come from the roof line down and they’re more out to the side as opposed to out front. It means less blind spots on the driver and passenger side. Having the mirrors out to the side like this also means that the frame of the cockpit can extend out [towards the front of the coach], which provides a stronger cage to protect the driver and co-pilot.

POPS: We’re doing an easy 65 miles per hour right now, but the engine is quiet. The ride is smooth. We’re sitting on Flexsteel 6-way power seats. Flexsteel is a popular brand in the RV industry because they have a lifetime warranty on the framework.

DANA: Nothing is rattling. You don’t hear any squeaking from the cabinets or the TV overhead. It’s a nice quiet ride. Comfortable, too. The co-pilot has a pull-out work station for a laptop.

POPS: And the dash is great. All your controls are easy to reach. RV owners really love the dash area for their pets. It’s funny how far an RVer will go to accommodate their pets and make sure they’re comfortable.

DANA: This really is the new generation of our industry. Streamlined. Efficient. But it’s still comfortable and stylish. This is the future.

POPS: This coach is a real treat to drive on the back roads and on the highway, because the diesel engine, which is more powerful than what’s in a similar style coach like the Damon Avanti, gets such great fuel mileage.

REST AREA

The Serrano pulls into a parking space. Steve and Dana step from the cockpit to the living area.

DANA: It’s a smaller coach, but you don’t give up on quality or luxury.

POPS: Lot’s of style. The rounded Euro-style cabinets have an upscale feel.

Steve opens the slide out, expanding the living area

DANA: And the seating arrangement with a leather u-shaped dinette next to a hide-a-bed sofa and a recliner. The slide opens and gives this area plenty of living space. Normally you won’t find a seating arrangement like this at this price point.

POPS: And it has a pantry.

DANA: How many large coaches have we seen through the years that don’t have a pantry? This one does, and it has a convection microwave.

POPS: That's great... but where do ya keep the booze?

Dana opens a cabinet beneath the sink revealing a spacious cavern. She looks at Steve and smiles triumphantly.

DANA: Right here.

POPS: Good. Like I said this coach is great for weekend rips or longer hauls. It’s got a lot of luxury for the price.
