Thor Motor Coach introduced several new floor plans for 2012. Three that are currently featured at Lazydays Tucson are the Class B+ Citation 27SB, and the Class A Challenger 37DT and Tuscany 45LT models. The new floor plans feature many upgrades and highlight the product development efforts undertaken at Thor Motor Coach.

The Citation B+/Class C gas motorhome is available in two floor plan choices, while the Citation Sprinter model is is designed for those who prefer a diesel engine. The gas-powered Citation features a Ford® chassis with Triton™ engine, and ranges from 27 feet, 9 inches to 31 feet, 4 inches in exterior length. Both models feature glazed cherry or maple cabinetry, a MEGA Storage™ oversized exterior storage compartment, Cummins Onan® MicroQuiet™ 4,000-kilowatt generator, patio entertainment package, 32-inch LCD TV in the living area and portable 19-inch LCD TV in the bedroom, 30-inch residential microwave, oversized 36-inch-wide shower and optional solid-surface kitchen countertops. The 27SB also comes standard with a spacious U-shaped dinette.

The Challenger is a Class A gas motorhome; it is constructed on a Ford® chassis with 6.8-liter Triton® engine, and boasts many features more commonly found in diesel-pushers. It offers double, triple and full-wall slides, and floor plans that range in length from 33 feet, 8 inches to 37 feet, 10 inches. For 2012, Thor Motor Coach has increased the Challenger’s ceiling height to 82 inches to give it a roomier feel throughout. Interior features of the 37DT include a 32-inch Sony® LCD TV and home theater, expandable sectional sofa, electric fireplace, washer/dryer prep, side-hinged baggage doors for access to the pass-through basement storage, large U-shaped dinette and bathroom with double-sink vanity. In addition to the 37DT model, the Challenger offers a number of different floor plans. The new 37KT offers a residential-style five-room layout with a dining room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, plus a living area that features a remote-controlled electric fireplace.

The Tuscany 45LT is a Class A diesel-pusher with three slides, one of which is a full-wall slide. It measures 44 feet, 10 inches in exterior length, and is built on a Freightliner® XC chassis with 450HP Cummins® ISL diesel engine. Interior features include residential polished porcelain tile, a dual-vanity master bath and optional stackable washer and dryer. The living area boasts an expandable sectional sofa with airbed, 40-inch Sony® LCD HDTV and home theater system, and handcrafted solid wood entertainment cabinet with built-in fireplace. In addition to the new 45LT, the Tuscany offers a choice of five other floor plans.
