Holiday Rambler, a division of Monaco Coach Corporation (a Navistar company), has updated and upgraded its Ambassador line with many new features for 2012.

Mike Moran, Southwest Regional Sales Manager for Holiday Rambler, said, “A significant investment was made by Navistar to give the owner a better driving and RV living experience. Navistar is making a massive commitment in factory service centers throughout the country. Our goal is 100 percent customer satisfaction.”

All Holiday Rambler diesel-pusher model floor plans now feature the “living side” position for the dinette, offering a patio view. Upgraded decors on the Ambassador models include porcelain title, redesigned fascia, decorative backsplashes and Italian Sienna cabinetry. With the use of the RoadmasterĀ® chassis, engineers came up with a stronger application for the space and created a full-wall slide in two of the three Ambassador floor plans.

The front cap has been redesigned with chrome, a direct-bonded windshield and improved visibility in all directions, while the rear cap redesign features a radiator grill and stacked radiator for superior cooling, taillights repositioned for safety, LED brake, and clearance and backup lights.

Stronger hinges have been added to the bay doors of the Ambassador, and larger tires now deliver an improved ride. Even the interior entry has been redesigned with CorianĀ®, bull-nose tile and color-matched rubber. The molded pilot-side console features enhanced positioning of switches, gauges and air brake control; and valid air leveling is now standard for 2012 models.
