Caravan Destinations
Fantasy RV Tours
Whether you want to see polar bears or zebras, this caravan company has a tour for you. From a 14-day $4000 jaunt through the Canadian Rockies to a 37-day $28,000 excursion through South Africa, you’ll find many interesting sights—the Cape of Good Hope in Capetown, and plenty of adventures—the Hell’s Gate Air Tram ride in Hope BC. Fantasy RV Tours has been providing trips to popular vacation destinations for over 50 years and working with the RV industry for nearly two decades. Each trip includes an itinerary and a map outlining the route. They also offer alternatives like auto/pick-up caravans that allow you travel to the starting point in your RV and continue the trip in your car or pick-up, staying in hotels along the route.

Adventure Caravans
Adventure Caravans can take you, from Baja to New Zealand and all points in between. They also offer packages to popular events like NASCAR races, the Cherry Blossom Festival, and the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. From a 3-day visit to the Philadelphia/Valley Forge area to a 42-day tour that follows the battles of the Civil War, Adventure Caravans has something to please all levels of experience. Their “frequent caravan” miles program offers $.05 for every mile travelled, which can be used as credit on a future caravan, and early bird discounts can save you money. For two people, prices range from $3995 for a 7-day Kentucky Derby excursion to $8995 for a 78-day blitz of Central America.

Special Military Active Retired Club
If you’re an active or retired member of the US Military, you are eligible for full membership in the S*M*A*R*T club for $60, while widows/widowers and others may qualify for associate membership for $45. While the club offers many activities, they provide RV caravan trips throughout the year. Many of them are half the cost of commercial tours because volunteers fill the wagon master and caravan positions. This year’s caravans include a 60-day Alaska/Canada tour and a 14-day trip to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. While exact dates and prices have not all been established, reservations and deposits are being accepted while details are ironed out.
