Howard and the Raptor
The 2010 Keystone Raptor
According to full-time RVer Howard Berkowitz, he Raptor is the perfect RV for an active family. With ample storage in the back that can be used as a garage to store ATVs and other play toys, or to convert to a family room, the Raptor provides the perfect home on wheels for a traveling family.

I have a 35ft Outback a sydney edition I lock at other 5th wheels and I settled for this one. I have a gas hog truck. The mileage I get is the same or better than a Class A. Don t forget about that entra weight you are pulling and the gas car.

This was nothing more than a cruddy pitch for Lazydays. What kind of review is this?

Thought was an RV Review. Not a sales pitch for Lazydays and the Raptor. This was a very biased review of this piece of hardware rather than an honest unbiased review. Pro s, Con s .....where are they. Thought that is what a REVIEW was.

Kevin, the Carri-lite line is too heavy for your tow vehicle. You should check out the Keystone Copper Canyon line. They have some nice floor plans that may work well for you.

I don t like 5th wheels! I like the drive-able RV, When you buy a 5th wheel then you need to buy a big gas hog truck to pull it with. Then when you go after unhooking you are paying for gas for the gas guzzler truck to just run into town etc.

Howard, we own a 2005 29ft Keystone Sprinter Travel Trailer w/ 1 slide out, and wanted to trade it for a 5th wheel, but our truck, will only pull 9,500 lbs. Most 5th wheels weigh over 10,000, Does carri-lite make a 5th wheel w/ 3 slide outs?

Tony - In the 38-foot range, the Keystone Montana Big Sky and the Carri-Lite by Carriage are both favorites of 5th wheel full-timers. Thanks - Howard Berkowitz (hberkowitz@lazydays.com)

I am looking for a true full-time 5th wheel in the 38 to 40 range. How does Keystone have that fits that. Also, I really don t like having any part of the bath in the bedroom which seems to be the typical configuration.

Own a 2001, Keystone Cougar, 27 RKS. Keystone builds exemplary coaches. Have over 200,000 trouble free miles on ours. We need shorter RVs for our mountains and to comply with our state park s 27 rule. Finding a quality , short coach is difficult.
