2007 Tribute 260 by Country Coach
The Best of All Worlds
How does one stand out in the motorcoach world? A bigger engine? Marbleized kitchen countertops? Maybe a dashboard GPS system or plasma TV? It is a competitive universe out there, and providing state-of-the-art products seems to be the way many RV manufacturers are attracting our attention.
Speaking of leading edge products, the arrival of Country Coach’s newest creation is now upon us and is it a sight to see! The new 2007 Tribute 260 exemplifies Country Coach’s commitment to such eternal verities as strength, safety, practical comforts, performance, quality and cutting-edge design. These are the things you care about when you are trying to produce the very best.
It all begins with its DynoMax chassis, where all-steel construction - which includes bonded steel floor, walls and roof - provides rigidity and stress distribution that makes the Tribute 260 a tower of strength. Move on up to the driver’s seat, where the one-piece windshield gives you the kind of panoramic view that not only enhances your driving pleasure, but ensures that all your attention is on the road.
Take it out on the highway. The Tribute 260 has a suspension system second-to-none, handles like a dream and has a 400 horsepower C9 powerplant. This bronco is so strong, it can climb hills as if they don’t exist. And with a tight turning radius, this motorcoach can sneak into some very teeny spots (relatively speaking, that is).
Check out the exterior. It has one of those splashy paint designs that make you want to program “Freebird” and “Born To Be Wild” on the stereo as you ramble down America’s highways. Step inside, the Tribute 260 has a warm, wood interior (you can choose oak, cherry or maple cabinetry) that practically screams “comfort.” There is plenty of seating all around, and storage space behind every door. In the 40’ floor plan, your home on wheels can include all sorts of options, including a full stack washer/dryer and king-size bed. A 27” LCD high-def TV is standard (32” is optional for you big picture folks) as are a surround sound home theater system and five-disc DVD player.
But wait. There’s more. Check out the two 15,000 BTU air conditioners, ready to comfort you during those sultry July days. The Tribute 260 also features easy access to its expansive pass-through storage bays and those little touches that add to your on-the-road experience such as a driver’s side sun shade, full rear mud flaps, an HWH air leveling system, and an awning package including a Carefree® power patio awning with wind sensor.
What more could the stylish voyageur ask for? Don’t be surprised to discover that there are three different floor plans for the 37’ and 40’ models, as well as build-your-own options which allow you to choose a variety of exterior paint designs and interior decors. Mix and match. Indulge your creative side. Before you know it, you’ll be sending slides in to House Beautiful, begging them to feature your baby in their next issue.
Is the Tribute 260 the best of all possible worlds, or what?
